File a Complaint

Jefferson County Commission has established a Compliance Hotline for employee’s use. This Compliance Hotline is designed for use when an employee finds it appropriate or necessary to report workplace issues such as discrimination, retaliation or unfair treatment.  The hotline may also be used in order to report unethical or illegal wrongdoing (i.e. whistleblowing) by any County employees so that the issue may be impartially investigated.  The hotline may also be utilized to submit questions regarding rule or policy interpretation and other matters.  The Compliance Office values your input and encourages you to bring forward complaints, concerns or questions you feel are appropriate or that have not been responded to by the leadership in your Department.  Reports may be made anonymously and the Compliance Office will maintain confidentiality whenever possible and release information only to those with an essential need to know. We want employees to feel comfortable in reporting any instances where they believe violations of policies, rules or ethical standards have occurred.

Access the EthicsPoint Hotline at (844-759-0034) or visit the website at www.jccal.ethicspoint.com to report a complaint. Employees may also schedule a private and confidential consultation with a Business Partner in the Compliance Office to assist with their concerns.
