Public Information Office

The Public Information Office is responsible for managing the dissemination of information to the media and citizens of Jefferson County. We do this by maintaining the following communication and marketing channels:

  • Media relations/news releases/news conferences (For non-elected offices. The public information office is non-political and cannot work on political campaigns or endorse candidates). Enter your request here: Media Request.

  • Communication planning for items impacting the citizens of Jefferson County (How and when to inform citizens about an upcoming change in process or change to how things have normally been done).Enter your request here: Communication Request.

  • Photography and videography (for social media & portraits). We do not have the resources to shoot training videos. Enter your request here: Photography and videography Request.
