How to find which version of iOS is installed on your iPhone
- On your iPhone, start the Settings app and then tap “General”
- Tap “Software Update”
- Here you can see your current iOS version, and check to see if there is an update available and ready to install.
On the Software Update screen, you will see the version you currently have installed, and it should indicate if you are up to date. If you tap Automatic Updates, you will see what is set to automatically run, Download iOS Updates and Install iOS Updates should both be green to indicate they are active.
Automatic updates will be downloaded and installed, typically during the night, if you are plugged in to power and connected to Wi-Fi.
